This is the day that the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Heavenly Father, we thank you once again that we could come boldly to your Throne of Grace.

We pray for peace and healing throughout the world especially those countries that are fighting, destroying, and killing each other. We also bring before you the family of those who have loss their lives because of senseless gun violence in our cities.

We bring before you all, Ministers, Father Sully our pastor, Canon Harris, Reverend Lloyd, and their respective families. We thank you Lord God for them and for the words they impart in our lives. We pray that your spirit continues to flow through them.

We bring before you the doctors, nurses, and those in the health field; we bring the essential workers; we pray that you will be with them as they serve your people.

Lord God be with the homeless, those that are hungry, the widows, and orphans. We pray that you will provide for their needs. We also bring before you those that are dealing with mental health issues, we pray that you will send them the help they need.

We bring before you our children and our young adults. Lord God, we pray that your angels will encamp around and about them and keep them safe.

We bring our sick and shut-in before you. Please be with them as they are dealing with their ailment. Help them remember that they are not alone and let them feel your compassionate presence. Give those that are caring for them a heart of compassion.

We pray for the government and all officials; we pray, Lord God, that they seek your word before making decisions.

In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
